{"id":2023,"date":"2020-01-08T11:45:17","date_gmt":"2020-01-08T11:45:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dib.dk\/?p=2023"},"modified":"2022-02-24T10:41:49","modified_gmt":"2022-02-24T09:41:49","slug":"gratis-gaestelaererbesoeg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dib.dk\/en\/gratis-gaestelaererbesoeg\/","title":{"rendered":"Free guest teacher visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In weeks 9 to 13, DIB offers ten free guest teacher visits to the elementary school's oldest classes with film screening and teaching presentations to create change projects based on the UN World Goal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The movie <em>The voices of the displaced<\/em> tells the story of Johary, a young man from the Philippines who, along with thousands of others, has been driven from his home in the city of Marawi by an armed conflict between IS-related militias and Philippine government forces. The fierce war has stolen Johary's childhood home and dreams of the future, but it has also given him something new - an identity as an activist and a voice that he has to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Based on this story, DIB will, with the teaching project <strong>#riseupfortheworld<\/strong> , like to inspire Danish students to find and use <em>their<\/em> voices and help bring change in <em>their<\/em> near environment. We come out and show the movie, talk about its background, about the UN World Goals, and how they can provide a framework for participating in developing a more just and sustainable world - locally and globally well as.<br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PqQAAtfHdgE\">Click here to see the trailer of the movie on Youtube.<\/a><br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Audience and scope<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The guest teacher visit and the lecture are organized towards <strong>out schooling<\/strong>. The visit can advantageously be the beginning of a course of democratic participation in <strong>social studies<\/strong>, eventually <strong>interdisciplinary<\/strong> with for example geography, history or Danish. It takes <strong>2-3 lections<\/strong> depending on your wishes to which context it should be included.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Registration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Registration is done on a 'first come, first served' basis. Vi kommer ud og viser filmen, fort\u00e6ller om baggrunden for den, om FN\u2019s Verdensm\u00e5l, og hvordan de kan udg\u00f8re en ramme for at tage del i udviklingen af en mere retf\u00e6rdig og b\u00e6redygtig verden &#8211; lokalt s\u00e5vel som globalt. Bes\u00f8get kan med fordel udg\u00f8re indledningen til et forl\u00f8b om demokratisk deltagelse i samfundsfag, eventuelt tv\u00e6rfagligt med fx geografi, historie eller dansk.
