There are many ways to become part of DIB's work. You can become a member, register as a volunteer or make a contribution…

Become member

You can become a member by depositing 100 DKK through MobilePay at 94620 or on account number 8401-1265380.

Remember to write your name on the transfer - and also your email, so that we can send you a welcome and you can receive the newsletter.

In DIB, we rejoice every time we get a new member and when old members renew their membership. We need at least 50 paying members a year to be able to apply for funding from CISU and make projects with our partners in the South. And we would like to continue to do so.

As a member you have the opportunity to attend the annual general meeting and participate in our work. In addition, you will receive a newsletter from us approximately once every 3 months.

Become volunteer

There are good opportunities to get involved in DIB's work - either as a volunteer at the secretariat or in one of the volunteer groups responsible for our projects.

Contact secretariat's manager Lykke Valentin Kristiansen at to hear more or contact one of our currently two working project groups, namely the Bolivia group by Lea Pascal at or the Nepal group by Camilla Sternberg at

As a volunteer, you will, among other things, have the opportunity to practice competencies in project development, management and coordination; gain experience in communication, public relations and dissemination; build a network in the NGO environment, including through attendance at meetings and courses; become part of a small but active organization that is passionate about its work and who believes that volunteering must be both meaningful, inclusive and enjoyable.

Make a contribution

You can make a contribution to DIB's work by transferring to MobilePay 94620 or account number 8401-1265380.

You are of course welcome to contact us at if you have any special wishes for what your contribution should go to.

A contribution to DIB's work - big and small - means a lot to a small organization like ours. Your contribution will be to enable us to develop our information activities in Denmark, maintain a well-functioning and present secretariat, establish stable volunteer groups and increase awareness of the organization and its good results. Our major development projects are often funded through specific project grants.
